Take a unique music journey with host and MSO cellist Nicholas Bochner. Nicholas, together with the musicians of the MSO will deconstruct famous classical pieces so that you understand the context, history and story behind these well-known works. These concerts are proudly supported by TarraWarra Estate, who have worked with the MSO to develop a ‘perfect pairing’ of classical works with selected wines for a truly multisensory home listening experience.

6.30pm, Monday 18 May | Sir Andrew Davis’ Messiah

Featuring: Nicholas Bochner presenter

Paired with: TarraWarra’s 2016 Nebbiolo evokes the spirit of Christmas with it’s aroma of roses, smoked meats & spice, and a palate woven with intricate fruit and lingering tannin structure.

6.30pm, Monday 1 June | Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7

Featuring: Nicholas Bochner presenter

Paired with: TarraWarra's vibrant and perfectly-balanced 2018 Roussanne Marasanne Viognier is an excellent match for the lively dance-like rhythms in Beethoven's Symphony No.7

Featuring: Nicholas Bochner presenter

Paired with: The brightness and colour of the 2017 Estate Pinot Noir is a perfect foil for Scheherazade. Delicious fruit with supple tannins and fine structure.
